What is Crossfit?
Crossfit is a strength and conditioning fitness methodology that promotes broad and general overall physical fitness by doing constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity. Crossfit combines olympic weightlifting, cardio, and gymnastics. All workouts are scalable and modified for ANY skill level or injury.
What is a WOD?
WOD stands for Workout Of the Day.
What if I can’t use the prescribed weight?
Use a weight that is manageable to you. All workouts are scalable.
Is the Community Class really free?
Yes, bring your friends and family Saturdays at 10am to see what Crossfit is all about.
What if I have never worked out before?
Crossfit is for EVERYONE. All workouts can be scaled to your level of fitness; whether you are getting off of the couch for the first time, a professional athlete or anything in between!
What if I also run marathons?
Crossfit is a great way to cross train while preparing for marathons. We have a number of athletes that have improved their marathon times while Crossfitting. Our endurance coach can help you achieve your fitness goals.
How many days a week should I work out?
Depends on your fitness level and the type of results that you are trying to achieve.
Will I lose weight while doing Crossfit?
If that is your goal, we can coach through weight loss or muscle gain.
Will Crossfit make me bulky?
Come in to discuss your fitness goals with one of our coaches and we will help you achieve them.
